Just happen that my sister has the Groupon to get Brotzeit Platter that serve for 4 to 5 pax. Without the Groupon, this platter cost about RM200++. So I went here with my family for this meat feast. Before this, my colleagues mentioned about this restaurant and she can't praise enough of the food after she had some kind of pork knuckle.

Brotzeit German Bier Bar (not sure of i can call it Beer Bar instead), is famous of their pork platter and various German main courses, side dishes, and German beer. I don't have the chance to taste the beer as me and my family going at lunch time, and we not fancy about beer. I saw a lot of people dine in here just for their beer after working hour. Not sure how good it is thou.

The waiters & waitress are quite friendly. Lots of them are around so we don't need to get to wait too long calling them to take our order. We just show our groupon and they immediately know what to do without much question. Environment wise is okay, the place kind of giving me the feeling I'm eating in an old fashion pub, with the mexico-like background music (I'm not sure that's German song or other languages). The only problem is that, the Brotzeit Platter that we order need a lot of preparation time and we got starved for like 20 minutes.

When the platter is finally served, here it is

We were quite starving so it looks as if we can finish all of them without problem. The entire platter are mainly consist of meats. Pork knuckle, another-pork-meat, sausage, and little bit of vege at random spot at the platter. Here come the best part. After we eating it, I gotta say the Pork Knuckle is AWESOME!! The meat is soft, nice to chewed, and the taste just right. I can taste the meat and the flavor together, and the flavor doesn't take away the taste of the meat. It's well cooked, and same for the rest of the meat. Not as awesome as Pork Knuckle, the other-pork-meat is cooked in a different way, not too much of flavoring but with the original taste of the meat. The sausage is slightly spicy but that's giving a great taste for each bite (My stomach growl really loud now *drool....*). But the meats are served with something BBQ sauce and other dressing, so it's kinda jelak after taken huge portion of it.

For the side dishes, we order roasted potatoes and potato salad. The potato salad is a little jelak because of the dressing, but it taste great. A bit like smashed potato. The roasted potato is crunchy but not over fried. I can still taste the potato in it.

I also order a cranberry juice that cost me around RM10. The cranberry taste is not that much but at least I think they don't add extra sugar in it. So it's quite a nice feel after having all those meats.

*Note: Brotzeit is not located inside Mid Valley, you need to look for Maybank and the police office that facing the road between Mid Valley and the Garden outside of Mid Valley. If you are outside the center court, you need to go straight to the direction where you can see Delicious Cafe, Antipodean, Chillis... and keep moving straight until you see Brotzeit on your right.
